Numerous editable safety forms included.

BASIS:

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommends that worker exposure to cold working environments be controlled. An individual gains body heat from food and muscular activity and loses it through convection, conduction, radiation and sweating to maintain a constant body temperature. When body temperature drops even a few degrees below its normal temperature of 98.6°F (37°C), the blood vessels constrict, decreasing peripheral blood flow to reduce heat loss from the surface of the skin. Shivering generates heat by increasing the body's metabolic rate. The reduction of adverse health effects from cold can be accomplished by the proper application of engineering and work practice controls, worker training, measurements and assessment of cold working conditions, medical supervision, and proper use of protective clothing and equipment.

Employees exposed to asbestos at or above the permissible exposure levels. Employees who perform housekeeping operations in areas that contain ACM and PACM.
