About Welding Safety Training for OSHA and NIOSH Compliance

This training will confirm that there is more to welding safety than meets the eye. It explains the different types of welding and procedures including the hazards they create. The hazards can be gases created by welding different types of metal  like Hexavalent Chromium which can cause lung cancer. Arc Flash is also a concern treated in this training. PPE is also covered in this training as the danger to yourself and others around you is imminent if the proper protection is not understood and worn. Your Employer need also to have a written welding safety plan in place to satisfy OSHA Standard 29CFR1910.251 - 252;  and NFPA Standard 51B, 1962.
