About Heavy Equipment Safety Training for OSHA and NIOSH Compliance

As the term would imply the type of equipment we are concerned with here is larger than a hammer, or shovel. This safety training offers the operators of heavy equipment such a s a backhoe, skidsteer, dumptruck, front end loaders, telehandlers etc. The training necessary for their safety and surrounding environment. Typically this training is required for construction, and municiple employees, but can also be included in general industry. Beside the safety aspect,  this training will also cover the maintenance issues surrounding this type of equipment. Additionally the supervisor or site manager will need to do a site survey to determine specific hazards including overhead wires, and train accordingly.
