This PowerPoint® course provides training in the basic concepts and techniques of electrical safety. It offers an overview of the safety related work practices section of Sub Part S to 29 CFR 1910 (electrical) for employees who face a risk of electric shock that is not reduced to a safe level by the electrical installation requirements of 29 CFR 1910.303 - 308. It also addresses comprehensively the issues of; evaluating and identifying potential energy sources where work is performed, evaluating the associated potential hazards, communicating information concerning these hazards, and establishing appropriate procedures, and protective measures for your employees.
