About Cranes, Hoisting, and Riggings Safety Training for OSHA and NIOSH Compliance

This training is designed for anyone lifting objects mechanically in either "general industry" or in the "construction industry". It outlines the type of lifting and the mechanical means to do it. there are several tpes of equipment which fall under the standard including;  series Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Overhead, and gantry-top running hoists, hooks, monorail, and underhung cranes, Overhead hoists- underhung, stacker cranes, and manually Lever operated hoists. This required safety training ensures that the operator understands the equipment and how to safely use it. This training along with the appropriate OSHA safety plan will satisfy OSHA standards 29 CFR 1910.179, 1926.550, 1903.1.
